Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 13, 2026

Fenrir Digital Oy ("we", "our", or "us") publishes the Convivial iOS application (the "App"). Convivial is a read-only dashboard and Home Screen widget suite for hosts who manage their short-term rentals with Hospitable. This Privacy Policy explains what the App accesses, where that data lives, and what we never do with it.

The short version: your Hospitable data goes from Hospitable to your device and nowhere else. We operate no server that receives, stores, or analyses it.

Information the App Accesses

Hospitable personal access token

To show your numbers, you paste a personal access token created in your Hospitable account. The token is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and is sent only to Hospitable's API over HTTPS. We recommend creating it with the Read scope. The App never writes to Hospitable, regardless of the token's scope.

Hospitable account data

Using the token, the App reads the following from the Hospitable public API and keeps a local copy (a "mirror") on your device so widgets and charts work offline:

  • Properties: names, addresses, coordinates, photos, listing details, house information
  • Reservations: dates, status, platform, financial breakdown, and guest details as provided by Hospitable (name, profile photo, location, language, email, phone number)
  • Calendar availability and nightly prices
  • Guest reviews

The mirror is stored in the App's private container, which is shared only with the App's own widget extension. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. Guest details are shown to you because you are the host; the App does not contact guests and does not share their information.

Images

Property and guest photos are loaded directly from the URLs Hospitable provides (Hospitable, Airbnb, Booking.com, or Expedia image servers). Those servers see the image requests from your device in the same way a web browser would.

Settings

Your preferences (revenue basis, chosen periods, hidden properties, widget configuration) are stored on your device only.

Demo Mode

The App includes a demo mode with a sample data set. The sample data contains no real guest information: names, photos, contact details, and addresses in it are fictional. Demo avatars are generated illustrations loaded from a public avatar service.

Subscriptions

Convivial Pro is sold as an in-app subscription through Apple. Purchases are processed by Apple and managed with RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user identifier and purchase receipts so that your entitlement can be restored across devices. RevenueCat never receives your Hospitable token or your Hospitable data. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not run servers that receive your Hospitable data or token
  • We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs in the App
  • We do not sell or share personal data
  • We do not write to, message from, or change anything in your Hospitable account

Third-Party Services

  • Hospitable: the source of your data, accessed with your own token (Hospitable Privacy Policy)
  • Apple: App Store distribution, in-app purchases, and TestFlight
  • RevenueCat: subscription management

Data Security

  • The access token is stored in the iOS Keychain
  • All network requests use HTTPS
  • The local mirror is protected by iOS data protection and your device passcode

Data Retention and Deletion

Everything the App stores lives on your device. Choosing Disconnect in Settings deletes the token and the local mirror. Deleting the App removes all of its data. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. You can revoke the token at any time in Hospitable under Apps, API access.

Your Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the rights granted by the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, and portability. Since the App keeps your data only on your device, you exercise these rights directly through the App and through Hospitable. For anything else, contact us at the address below.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for rental hosts and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version is always published at this address with an updated effective date.
